PPDC UK is brokering partnerships between West African procurement agencies and UK civic tech experts to implement the Open Contracting Data Standard (OCDS). This global standard ensures that data about the planning, procurement, and implementation of public contracts is published in a machine-readable, accessible format.

Through these partnerships, we are not just providing software; we are building a community of practice. Training sessions in Accra and Lagos are bringing together government officials, journalists, and tech developers to use this data for monitoring bridge construction, school supplies, and healthcare infrastructure.
